Companionable Virtual Silence

What I rather miss about a significant other about the house is the times of NOT talking to each other; happily just engaged in ones own activities but knowing there's a friendly presence around.
Well. here's a substitute. I was taking down the Christmas tree today and daughter Louise was on skype from Japan...she was busy doing stuff - and so was I...but we were there to throw the odd comment at each other. So it was mostly companionable silence - but virtually.
Makes me wonder, if they can invent 3D printers, will the next step be a hologram of your family and friends in the corner of the room?
Anyway, just found out that she'd been busy posting a comment on Facebook about me dancing whilst de-trimming the tree; right back at ya, Louise dear one, with this pic!
